Acadia National Park

Our last trip in the US was to Maine, beautiful coastal state famous for its lobsters. Acadia is one of the country’s oldest and most popular national parks, whether you’re hiking, watching the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, chilling on Sand Beach or just driving along the Park Loop Road. We stayed at the popular coastal town of Bar Harbor.

Things we did:

1. Hiked the Beehive Loop Trail
2. Hiked South and North Bubble
3. Watched sunrise at Cadillac Mountain
4. Stopped at Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse

The Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse is the most popular spot in the west side of the park. After parking your car, you walk down a short path to get up close to the lighthouse and panoramic views of the ocean.

5. Cooled at the ocean at Sand Beach
6. Stopped at Otter Cliff
7. Booked a boat cruise
8. Eat lobsters!
