When New York is covered with snow, it becomes a truly magical place!
During the weekend have wandered around the Central Park. Although it was freezing, the sun was shining and we were able to make a nice trip and snap some pictures.
If walking around is too boring for you, one can always go ice-skating. In the park are two ice rinks, the Wollman Rink and the Lasker Rink. Also the Central Park Zoo is open year-round.
For a bit of adventure you may find a few sledding spots, for example the Pilgrim Hill, or the Cedar Hill.
We entered the Central Park on the 85th Street and took a walk around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. From the Reservoir we walked past by the Loeb Boathouse, where we stopped for a brunch and hot apple cider.
When we returned back to our apartment, I was so glad the the freezing weather didn’t stop us from going outside. In fact, one of the most beautiful places to be after a snow storm is at the Central Park!
